Pasta makers since 1870

The story of Pastificio Ghigi starts in Morciano di Romagna, a village inland from Rimini at the centre of Valconca in 1870.

Nicola Ghigi was a baker who mixed selected durum wheat flour from Italian wheat with pure Apennine water and thus doing so founded his little factory, which has today become one of Italy's favourite pasta manufacturers.
