The
Venchiaredo dairy was established in the lower part of the Friuli region
on the banks of the River Tagliamento 30 years ago when a group of local
farmers decided to join forces. Pooling their efforts, they managed
to make the transition from being solely milk producers to becoming
producers of a range of dairy products.
The efforts and sacrifices of these skilled men
were rewarded with Venchiaredo's specialization and consequent recognition
as Italy's third largest producer of cheeses such as: stracchino/crescenza
and mozzarella and mozzarella for pizza.
The
company has grown consistently, investing in high-tech machinery and
equipment. Today, Venchiaredo assures a comprehensive service from production
through to delivery: whatever the destination a quality, certified product
is assured.
